As I promised before, I will show you my second version of the Reagan Raglan from BSD today. This time I made the dress version with long sleeves. This dress was a really quick sew, I cut the fabric one night and made the dress in two hours the day I had to take pictures. This was only possible because I knew which alterations I had to do for my back. Yep, some people think I can just make a pattern because I have a size 4 or 6, but my back doesn't agree with that plan ;-).
The fabric was bought at Kapellen a few weeks before for another pattern test that didn't go through. But it was ideal for this one, so I could just quickly wash it and use it. I wanted another fabric for the sleeves to highlight the beautiful raglan sleeves, so I visited the closests fabric shop. The choice for solid fabric was quite limited (I am kind of spoiled at the stoffenmadam, which was too far to just buy 80 cm of fabric) but I was lucky to find this one.
I am really convinced I found a nice basic pattern, especially now I know of the alterations I have to do for my back to get the perfect fit.
Thank you Melissa and Danielle for the opportunity and all the hard work you put into your patterns. I really appreciate this and liked the process of testing a lot.
Een hele mooie jurk! De halsboord is ook super afgewerkt!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBedankt!
